Named for the slight coloration of its sand, which takes on a fiery hue at sunset. It's certainly one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Lined with the beautiful, sumptuous villas of Terres-Basses, its long arc offers the utmost tranquillity. To the east, it hides an adorable little cove accessible to good swimmers, and a little further on, the Trou de David. But be warned, it can be dangerous to swim in due to its strong rollers. But it can be as calm as a lake.
