CASERNE DES POMPIERS

The first emergency centre in Saint-Barthélemy was opened on 1 July 1974 in Gustavia. In 1990, the team moved to the current barracks located across from the airport in Saint John. The staff consists of 9 professionals (officers, non-commissioned officers and non-commissioned officers), 47 volunteers and an administrative staff. In 2018, a total of 920 interventions were carried out. In addition to helping the entire population, they promote living together with the creation of events to discover the world of firefighters.
