An institution in Guernsey! A café-brewery where there are always people, at noon or in the evening. It is indeed very well located and welcomes the workers of the capital from the lunch break. At lunchtime, a large choice of sandwiches, pastas, salads and a hearty dish of the day. In the afternoon, it is an ideal place to have a coffee or a cream tea, while tasting some home-made cakes. In the evening, you can sit down to a seafood platter or quality international cuisine in the restaurant, which has a chic setting.

Je connais cet endroit depuis plus de 10 ans, et chaque fois, il me semble que la qualité de la nourriture servie et du service regresse toujours un peu plus. Breakfast complet, chaque ingrédient est présenté dans sa sécheresse micro-ondée, sans lien, sans âme. Il faut même demander des toasts qui ne sont pas inclus dans le programme, pourtant des qu'on parle de English Breakfast, il me semble que cela doit être inclus. Service poli, distant, automatique, robotique, programme, aucune touche personnelle, aucun charme. Christie est une chaîne de plusieurs restaurants a St Peter Port, tous ne sont pas sur le même acabit, mais, le trait commun semble mis sur l’économie en matière d'investissement de personnel qualifie selon les standards européens, surtout en matière d'encadrement.
