ENGLISH CAMP NATIONAL HISTORIC PARK
National Historical Park located north of San Juan Island that commemorates a territorial conflict between the British and the Americans.
Located north of San Juan Island, this National Historical Park, part of the San Juan National Historical Park, is very pleasant. It commemorates a territorial conflict between the British and Americans in 1859. During your visit, don't forget to do these few must-do's: climb to the top of Young Hill (about 20 minutes walk) for a breathtaking view of Garrison Bay and Westcott Bay and to watch the sunset, visit the park's cemetery, etc.
