KALALOCH LODGE
On the same principle as Lake Quinault Lodge, Kalaloch has a remarkable situation, which offers the traveller an ideal stopover in the middle of the Olympic Peninsula. All the year round from morning to night, or buy some snacks to take on the beach. The lucky sleep on site, in one of the 65 rooms of the hotel. The lodge, built in 1925 as a cabin, and expanded over the years, especially thanks to the construction of Hwy 101 - the rooms are classic and enjoy breathtaking views. You can also choose the motel rooms, which offer more independence (with fridge and microwave), or better, rooms with a view of the beach with full kitchen. Last option, fully equipped houses, with always this splendid view. Laura Bush, the former president's wife, chose this option for a short stay… Otherwise, there is always the camping option, with a view of course.
