LAKE QUINAULT LODGE
The beautiful Lake Quinault Lodge was founded in 1926. President Roosevelt stayed there in 1937 and named the restaurant after him. This place is the rallying point for walkers on the southwest shore of the lake. You can eat there, sleep in very comfortable rooms, meet sworn guides to visit the surroundings, or rent canoes to sail the waters of the lake. The hotel's guests also have access to a heated indoor swimming pool, a whirlpool and a playroom. The most modest boathouse rooms are really charming and affordable, some with lake views. The landscape around the lodge is peaceful and relaxing.
