PORTLAND HOSTEL HAWTHORNE DISTRICT
It's a Hawthorne house, an outlying residential area of large American-style houses with a little greenery, where there's a lively and trendy street, dotted with restaurants, bars, coffee shops and vintage shops. A very friendly and inexpensive youth hostel, whose all-wooden appearance is reminiscent of a Hobbit house. It is distinguished by its respect for the environment, with a "green roof" or a rainwater harvesting system. A kitchen is available for travellers and bicycles are available for rent. If the hostel is a little off-centre compared to Downtown, you can easily connect the city centre by bus, go by bike, and leave your car parked free in the neighbourhood.
