WHITE EAGLE SALOON & HOTEL
This is a very cheap option, at the beginning of the Mississippi district, a former newly connected industrial area, just a stone's throw from the newest restaurants and shops in vogue. McMenamins recovers historic sites to turn them into hotels or funky bars. The stay here will therefore be original, since we sleep above the pub/salon, always in its own juice. White Eagle is a historic building, renowned for its ghost stories and rock'n' roll atmosphere. The rooms are very simple, almost raw, but charming, with some retro lamps and comfortable beds, with messages to meditate written on the walls. The advantage, of course, is that you are there to attend the pub's daily concerts and that the rooms that come to lean on zinc are open to conversation. In addition, the rooms are pleasant and the MAX train (yellow line) is two blocks away, just like the Moda Center. Nice and different!
