Two reasons why we mention this building: its external appearance and what it contains. Built at the beginning of the th century, in a European style, it marks the use of wrought iron on facades, which are found in New York. After the Big Apple, Portland was the second American city to have known this kind of facades. Today, the iron rebar have been completely repainted, giving the building a more than original appearance. It contains all possible artifacts related to the Ducks, the American football team at the University of Oregon.
