THE GROTTO
This outlying park is quite surprising for Europeans: imagine an artificial cave that looks like the one in Lourdes without Bernadette, but with the Virgin Mary all the same, dug into a cliff that you can walk along once you have taken the (paying) elevator. At the top, a fairly small forest of giant sequioas with small sanctuaries dedicated to all religions punctuate a small route. We find the patron saint Guadalupe of South America, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian temples, etc. You can enter a glass prayer and meditation room with a view of Mount Rainier.
