FORT GEORGE BREWERY AND PUBLIC HOUSE
Inform the beautiful blue and red brick building, located on a parallel street behind Commercial. On the ground floor, the Blue Scorcher bakery, on the upstairs brasserie and Fort George pub. This building, located on the site of the foundation of the Astoria in 1811, was originally built in 1924 to host a petrol station. After years of good and loyal services, it is left out until the end of the 1990 s, where it is bought and transformed into a brewery. Today, it's one of the architectural assets of Astoria and one of the favourite places of the locals to drink a beer.
