The State Historical Museum mainly presents the lives of pioneers and Indians, from the conquest of the West, the famous Lewis and Clark expedition to the gold rush. The museum just reopened in October 2018 after a $4 million renovation. A new 18,000 m2 space was inaugurated as an annex to the 1950 historic building to offer an interactive and attractive exhibition.
