PAHASKA TEPEE RESORT
Located at the eastern entrance of Yellowstone, Pahaska Tepee is nestled among the large pine trees at the foot of the majestic Cody Peak. The historic lodge was built by Buffalo Bill at the beginning of the twentieth century. Used to coming hunting in the region in the 1880 s, ten years later he led the development of the entrance is from Yellowstone. Prior to agreeing with the Burlington Railroad Railway Company and the government, he began building the Irma Hotel in Cody and Pahaska. The hotel quickly became very popular when tourists began to reach Yellowstone by car via the entrance east. Today, he has lost his popularity. Staying here is going back to the footsteps of one of the most striking figures in the history of the Rockies and in the early years of one of the most beautiful national parks in the world. On the accommodation side, we love cabins with rustic decoration and ubiquitous woodwork, which are in simple rooms, double and/or equipped with kitchen or even boiling bath. But our favorite parts are the historic common pieces straight out of another time and the magnificent stone fireplace above which proudly sits the portrait of the founder of the places.
