AUBERGE DU GRAND CALAO
Ethnic inn with restaurant, terrace and swimming pool, offering 21 comfortable, air-conditioned rooms with en suite bathrooms.
Located on a vast plot of land set back from the city, this "ethnic inn", created in early 2011, has 21 air-conditioned rooms with a traditional décor, all equipped with a bathroom and enjoying a good level of comfort. Each of them has a particular character, inspired by the traditional architecture of the houses of Kasséna, Mossi, Dagari, Senoufo and Somba, all grouped by district. This site thus promotes Burkina Faso's highly diversified architectural heritage. You can also enjoy the central courtyard which, in the country's villages, is the place for family or neighbourly discussions. A real change of scenery! As for the cuisine, the Grand Calao offers two daily menus for lunch and dinner as well as à la carte meals, to be enjoyed in the large restaurant room, under the arcades of the terrace, under the straw huts scattered all over the place or by the pool. Every evening, the Irish Pub opens its doors, with billiards and darts, draught beer, and piano-bar parties on Fridays, in a cosy and relaxed atmosphere.
