GALERIE MATHIAS LAFON
This elegant gallery was born from the very strong links that its founder, Mathias Lafon, has woven with Africa, where he grew up. He is interested in ordinary and sacred objects and is passionate about the symbols they represent. Thanks to the villagers'submissive ', he uncovers this and there are stools, tools, containers… whose families no longer use. Masks, statues and other ancient objects are reproduced by artists who are outstanding. All of them are wonderfully well placed in this vast gallery, inside and outside, where it is a pleasure to walk among chests, masks, bronzes, Tchériba pottery, Ghana textiles, games, Lobi ladders, restored colonial furniture etc. A small lounge apart presents a nice selection of Tuareg jewels. Most prices are displayed. Mathias Lafon also opened a beautiful restaurant, Espace Gondwana.

In addition to the rooms, the orders are possible. Let us stress that transparency is setting: facing particular needs, the owner chat with the guest and announces about it in advance possible difficulties due to the local technical limitations. The result is in keeping with its forecasts, according to our own experience.
