CATHEDRAL

In 1926, Bishop Thévenoud (1878-1949) conceived the project of Ouagadougou Cathedral, including the bust in the enclosure's enclosure. The first stone was raised in 1934 and the building completed in 1936. It is accessed by Monseigneur-Thévenoud Avenue, whose perspective it closes. To visit it, it is preferable to visit mass hours: 5:45 a. m. every morning for mass in moorery, Saturday at 6 p. m. and Sunday 9 a. m. and 6 p. m., otherwise you can break your nose. Behind the cathedral, near the parking lot, is the Ave Maria, a strange altar dedicated to Mary, surrounded by benches to gather (statue of the Virgin under a carved stone arch).
