Institute programming numerous cultural events throughout the year with the aim of discovering new talent in Burkina.
The Institut français de Ouagadougou has been very active for more than 40 years. All year round, it schedules many cultural events, including concerts during which you can discover new talents from Burkina Faso and elsewhere, as well as renowned artists, dance shows, theatre plays, exhibitions in a bright circular room, readings of children's stories, and a good film programme, through several festivals in particular... It houses a media library, an open-air cinema and an air-conditioned indoor room. You can find the FI's programming very easily in Ouaga (shops, hotels...), otherwise go to the site (posting), on the website or on Facebook. Its pleasant bar-restaurant is a place for reflection and meeting. Security and access to the Institute have been effectively improved in recent years.
