THE GARDEN OF ARTS AND CULTURES (JAC)
Created by a retired Beninese diplomat and based in Faso for the past fifteen years, this incredible space is still evolving! It offers you art, history and culture. In a quiet, gigantic space, you will find large statues representing key figures in history such as Nelson Mandela, as well as a fountain and an educational trail on the Slave Route. Soon a large swimming pool, a small museum and an artists' residence will be built. On the relaxation side, there are large straw huts, huge trees to lie down and a petanque ground. The garden is linked to the Si tous les ports du monde association, based in Saint-Malo, which promotes economic and cultural exchanges throughout the world (www.sitouslesportsdumonde.com). This place that moves all the time is perfect for the weekend or even during the week.
