KOKOLOGHO PALACE
The palace was built in 1942 with the assistance of the Catholic mission of Ouagadougou. His Naba is the protector of 8 village entities that owe him allegiance. In this respect, the Naba is a depositary and responsible for a "court of fetishes", composed of so many boxes representing each village under its tutelage, each box housing the fetish of the village. It is this traditional function of the leadership that gives this site a sacred dimension that remains very present. The palace, with its well-structured annexes, managed by a hierarchical court, is the privileged place for customary ceremonies and popular celebrations that are the life of an agrarian society. Every Friday morning, the chief receives representatives from the 8 villages, accompanied by their follow-up, to carry out the week's balance sheet and discuss the current problems and projects. Note that Naba's revenues come from the field crops. The palace is a traditional construction of carefully crépie banco bricks, and its architecture resembles the Sudan-Sahelian style: roof terrace with balustrade balustrade, openings with typical shapes… Each part of the palace is dedicated to a function. The woman's wife and other women in the family have their separate court.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
The photos of the tourist guides and postcards give a too flattering idea of the site.
Construction, coarse compared to other similar buildings, is spoiled by modern additions (rusty iron gate, concrete shelter...). The pseudonym guard prevented from entering the courtyard, then deserted its train station.
You can stop if you go on the road, but that is not worth the detour.
The site is not indicated from the main road. Coming from Ouaga before the entrance to the village Kokologho watch on the right, you can see part of construction 150m at the end of a track.
