Loumbila houses an orphanage set up by the Seeds of Joy Development association, today BURKIN'AVENIR. It is partly managed by the sisters of the restaurant L'Eau Vive and its objective is financial autonomy and management. There is a ferme farm (very special smell!), a bar-pizzeria (count 2 000 FCFA the pizza) and a delicious bakery. To date, the orphanage hosts gifts of clothing, medicines, school supplies and basic food. Agricultural activities are developed and the association has built its own school which also accommodates children from the neighbouring village. In 2011, a nursery was born. A sponsorship system allows for the assumption of schooling. To bring resources to the orphanage, the association wishes to promote solidarity tourism and envisages the construction of some air-conditioned African boxes. There are many efforts to develop these disadvantaged children. French partners and burkinabé, such as the Air France Foundation, the Véolia Environment Foundation and PACA region, accompany them. In 2014, the purchase of a vehicle was possible.
