MUSEUM OF BENDROLOGY OF MANEGA
An unusual and unmissable museum showcasing Burkinabe culture through multiple collections of masks, bronze...
Unusual and unavoidable, the Museum of Bendrology (from the word bendré, a sacred musical instrument charged with recalling the achievements of the dynasties and the virtues of the Mossi people) of Manéga is created by Titinga Frédéric Pacéré, lawyer and writer. Rich in multiple collections (masks, bronze, musical instruments...), it presents Burkinabe culture essentially in its sacred aspects, through several pavilions. The pavilions are very dark and the objects are sometimes covered with a thick layer of dust, but this creates a strange atmosphere that some may like!
