ARTISAN HALL
Go there and contact
At Kaya Centre, close to the market, a small covered hall entirely dedicated to leather craftsmen, exhibits the sale of many items made from the skins prepared in advance in the tanneries of the city, or from Dori. It includes leather sandals of all styles and colours (the most resistant ones have a semelle of recycled tires!) but also leather leather (bags, purses), boxes with pretty motifs and some jewels. Most articles have goat or zébu skin (beef), but crocodile and camel are also very much appreciated for their skin. More expensive camel sandals, however, have a reputation for being very resistant.
