GROUPEMENT NAAM
It is an association whose action is geared towards food security and sustainable rural development, in which villagers are the main actors. The center was created by Dr. Bernard Lédéa Ouédraogo in 1967 to improve the conditions for the conservation and marketing of fruit and vegetables. All around a large courtyard, this cooperative supported by the Luxembourg Brothers' Association includes a soap factory in which women produce shea butter and the oil of neem used subsequently for the manufacture of soap, a weaving and dye workshop, a manual workshop of metal screens (by men men)) and solar dryers to dry the foreground. We can buy on-site products from these women, but also vegetables and seeds, fertilizers… The Voice of Paysan (97.0), a community radio intended to enhance and support the farmers of the region, is also located in the premises. She issues from 5:30 a. m. Some rooms are available in the great courtyard, ideal for small budgets!
