LES NUITS ATYPIQUES DE KOUDOUGOU (NAK)
Every year since 1996, the last Wednesday in November, the Atypical Nights of Koudougou (NAK) begins, a cultural event focused on understanding the peoples of the five continents, which attracts hundreds of artists from various disciplines. During this festival, born from the twinning with Les Nuits atypiques de Langon (Gironde), the whole city vibrates to the sound of the festival and numerous exhibitions and shows allow artists to express themselves.
Association Benebnooma (which in Mooré means "unity is strength"). Apart from the NAK, it is interesting to visit the association's centre, which is active in the fields of education, culture (the Saaba percussion and dance troupe is internationally renowned) and communication (radio Palabre, TV Yaka). It is preferable to call in advance (+226 25 44 03 87).
