NAYALGUÉ'S FARM
Nayalgué means "what is spreading" in mooré : the farm has indeed spread well ! When it was created in the early 2000s, it had a surface area of 1,200 m². Today, it covers 3,600 m² and produces up to 10 tons of spirulina per year! It is also a humanitarian farm. Indeed, part of the production is intended for the population suffering from malnutrition or HIV. Thus, spirulina sold commercially makes it possible to produce spirulina at a lower cost for the most disadvantaged. The tour is conducted by one of the farm employees, and is very informative.
