After having cared for sick children on the street for a year (1993), the Sidewalk Dispensary moved to premises to facilitate the follow-up of these children. Today, the association has broadened its scope of action, in addition to a dispensary where children have medical and nutritional care, a school has opened its doors and currently welcomes 150 children from the age of 3 and 15 in literacy classes. In addition, it provides support to more than 1,000 disadvantaged children, particularly in terms of schooling and vocational training. Some of these children are sponsored, which allows them to pursue their studies further, do not hesitate to contact the Dispensary if you also wish to help a child! It is also a maternity hospital (nearly 80 births/year), a youth centre for raising awareness of HIV and other STDs... But also a small spirulina farm with 2 basins installed in the enclosure, direct sale. A great initiative to support.
