The Ouagadougou-Abidjan line offers a link between Ouaga, Koudougou, Bobo-Dioulasso and Banfora. The journey allows you to cross the landscape of Burkina Faso at the record slow of 7 hours (at least!) to connect Bobo to Ouaga for a non-competitive fare with bus transport. And for a Bobo-Abidjan, take 24 hours of transport! Only for those who love rail. Some travel takes place at night, with limited interest for the traveller, and delays are frequent.
