A stone's throw from the White House and Downtown museums, this saloon is the oldest in Washington (1856), although it has changed its location several times. He greets politicians and lobbyists on a daily basis, and more, in costume suits. The Old Ebbitt Grill is famous for oysters, steaks and a wide selection of wines, but also serves salads and burgers worth a visit.
