The decoration is very old school but not in the trendy sense of the word, and yet it is for its authenticity without fuss that Dan's Café has been a must for Adams Morgan for over 50 years. There is no air conditioning or credit card payment here, and the jukebox is made of old and successful hits. Affordable drinks are one of the place's assets. Order a plastic ketchup bottle filled with the strong alcohol of your choice and compose your own shots.
