SEPTA is a large network of buses, metros and tramways. Cards and passes can be purchased at Independence Visitor Center or at different stations. You must purchase a SEPTA Key Card to use the network and load it according to your needs: by adding the sum of money desired in your Travel Wallet or choosing the pass of your choice. The pass one day (One Day Convenience Pass) allows 8 trips to the entire Philadelphia network.

The network manages six subway lines, two of which cross downtown, Market-Frankford (east to west) and Broad Street (north to south). Bus: n ° 38 (city center to Benjamin Franklin Parkway) and No. 42 (city center to Civic Center and University City).

If you want to explore the surroundings of Philly, get the One Day Independence Pass which allows you to use buses, trains and metros in an expanded urban area (including regional trains). This is a different map of SEPTA Key Card.
