CONSULAT DE FRANCE DE PHILADELPHIE

The French Consulate in Philadelphia is located in the city of Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Consulate is part of the Consulate General of France in Washington. Honorary Consuls are French citizens or citizens of the host country, appointed by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and delegated by the Consulate General. They perform certain administrative tasks, protect residents and travelers, facilitate visits by political representatives and important business leaders, and promote trade, investment and the arts. However, certain services such as visas, passports, French national identity cards, consular notary services and obtaining French nationality are not available in Philadelphia, and require a visit to the Consulate General of France in Washington.
