ABE FISHER
This very chic restaurant serves contemporary cuisine inspired by the Jewish diaspora. Here, we eat dishes that have been revisited, but are served in accordance with Jewish traditions. The flavours come from all over the world, in tribute to the many places where the Jewish community has settled over the centuries. The menu offers small plates, which it is wise to share so that each guest can try as many things as possible. Don't miss: veal schnitzel served in tacos, fish served with strawberry goulash and, most importantly, braised rib of beef served in a Montreal style. Chef Yehuda Sichel, who began his career at a culinary school in Jerusalem, has long been behind the stoves of Zahav, Philly's leading Israeli restaurant.
