TEQUILAS
Tequilas is a genuine Mexican restaurant opened in 1986 by David Suro (from Guadalajara) and his wife. We do not come here for a vulgaire vulgaire; It is a chic place offering traditional but upscale cuisine. The interior is decorated with woodwork, chandeliers, a large fireplace and typical Mexican coloured Murals (los catrines). The menu is varied with meat and fish (lobster enchiladas). Special mentions at Carne Aguacate (a typical dish of meat served with mushrooms, tomatoes and avocado-coriander sauce) and the impressive list of available téquilas. The service is adorable and the most pleasant tables are in the first room, near the bar and the large windows overlooking Locust Street.
