VILLAGE WHISKEY
Since the opening of his first restaurant in 2005 (Amada tapas bar), Chef José Garcès continues his ascent and is undoubtedly Stephen Starr's main competitor. Many agree that Whiskey Village is one of its best restaurants, especially for the amazing Whiskey Burger (frozen steak in Bourbon, cheese and foie-touch fatty liver) served with cooked fries in duck fat. The sharp selection of whiskies (no less than 80 different) takes credit on behalf of the establishment. The decoration is meticulous: tiled room in white, beautiful woodwork and Chesterfield benches. Some tables outside the adjacent street. Success is at the meeting; at a. m., a queue is formed for dinner.
