This deli (kind of grocery store with sandwiches bar created by Jewish immigrants) has been one of Philadelphia's traditional places since 1923. It serves traditional dishes of Eastern Europe's Jewish cuisine (goulash) and especially the famous pastrami sandwiches served with coleslaw (cabbage salad) or potatoes. Authentic and to test. For the anecdote, a scene of the Philadelphia film was shot here. The place has been frequented by American politicians for decades. Al Gore ate in 2000 and Barack Obama in 2012, while he was president.
