At 269 m high, this tower, built between 1987 and 1990, was the highest in Philadelphia for years, before being overtaken by the Comcast Center in 2008 and then by the Comcast Technology Center, whose construction was completed in 2018. If the silhouette of One Liberty Place reminds you of the Chrysler Building, it is because its architect Helmut Jahn was strongly inspired by the famous New York skyscraper in the Art Deco style to design its tower. The panoramic observatory opened its doors in 2015 on the 57th floor of the tower. You have to take an elevator to get there. Up there, you will have a panoramic view of the city and especially of Two Liberty Place, a neighbouring tower that is part of the same complex. Guided tours, included in the ticket price and offered 5 times a day, offer a presentation of the tower and its history. By purchasing the pass which includes two visits, you can enjoy the day and night view.
