An umpteenth historic building located in the Independence National Park, built in 1791 by architect David Evans Jr. First designed to be the city hall in English, he housed the US Supreme Court until 1800, after it was decided that Philadelphia would be the country's temporary capital. When Washington DC became the capital, the building took the role for which it was built. He remained the city hall of Philadelphia until 1854 when the construction of the present City Hall was built. It is now possible to visit the Old City Hall and discover the reconstituted part of the Supreme Court.
