Almost half of the coins circulating in the United States were produced in this huge building in the heart of the old town. During your visit, you can observe the way they are done, and admire the collection of rare and old pieces in the David Rittenhouse Room. The original building, established by the founding fathers after the ratification of the United States Constitution to create the currency of the new nation, was just a few streets of the present, which opened its doors in 1969. It is also here that much of the American commemorative medals are created.
