FAIRMOUNT PARK

Occupying more than 40 km ² in the city, this municipal park is the largest in Philadelphia, but also one of the largest in the United States, its area more than three times that of Central Park in New York. This green lung is ready for all kinds of nature activities that would make us almost forget that one of the largest cities in the United States! Hiking, horse riding or cycling, boat tours… The park is divided into two by the Schuylkill River, which gives it small countryside and can be canoed. Fairmount Park also has several museums, historic houses, a Japanese garden and a zoo.
