SPRUCE STREET HARBOR PARK
Roughly speaking, the philadelphian equivalent of Paris-Plages, with more facilities and many activities. During the summer months, hammocks and deckchairs are available for visitors, with a view of the Delaware River. Local restaurants, such as HipCityVeg and Franklin Fountain, have a stand there, so you can order food and sit on the many outdoor tables. In the evening, the thousands of LED lamps installed in the trees are lit, offering a very beautiful spectacle. Yoga, meditation, cardio and stand-up paddle classes are offered throughout the summer.
