Fireworks, concerts and other festivities are organized throughout Boston to celebrate America's National Day.
Festivities take place across the country on the occasion of the American National Day. On July 4, 1776, the initial version of the Declaration of Independence was validated and passed, marking the country's independence from Great Britain. In Boston, events were organized throughout the city, starting on July 1st: fireworks (Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular), concerts on the Charles River Esplanade or the USS Constitution, which sailed to Castle Island and can be admired from the port.
