On December 16, 1773, the famous Boston Tea Party took place, one of the events that triggered the American Revolution. In order not to forget anything of this founding event of the United States, a re-enactment of the historical event takes place every year for the anniversary date, all in a very good-natured atmosphere. All participants come in costume. You can see with your own eyes the Sons of Liberty pouring tea cargoes into the harbour waters!
