The second oldest cemetery in the city for North End residents in Boston.
The cemetery was named after William Copp, an English leather goods dealer who owned the land. He sold it in 1659 and the place became a cemetery for North Enders. It is the second oldest cemetery in the city, after King's Chapel. Copp himself is buried there. Don't forget to read some epitaphs on the graves, some of which look like poems. Copp's Hill Burying Ground is one of the sites of the Freedom Trail.
