JOHN F. KENNEDY FEDERAL BUILDING
Two towers of 118 m with twenty-six floors with a simple and pure aesthetic, founded by Gropius in 1919 in Weimar Boston.
Inaugurated in 1966, these two 118-metre towers are the work of German architect Walter Gropius. With its simple, uncluttered aesthetic, the building embraces the essential characteristics of the Bauhaus movement, founded by Gropius in Weimar in 1919. The two 26-storey towers tower over a long 4-storey building. This steel, glass and concrete complex houses the offices of the Federal Administration. It is dedicated to John Kennedy, who was assassinated the same year work began on the building.
