PAUL REVERE HOUSE
The house of the patriot and member of the Sons of Liberty Paul Revere is one of the oldest buildings in Boston (1680).
This modest house is one of the last surviving 17th century buildings in Boston, built in 1680 (made of wood) and purchased by Paul Revere (1734-1818) in 1770. This goldsmith, dentist and hero of the American Revolution (in 1775, he rode on horseback to warn Samuel Adams and John Hancock in Lexington that the English were going to arrest them) had 16 children (with two wives, one of whom died young). In his two-storey house, the visitor will discover the kitchen, dining room and bedroom, reconstructed with period furniture.
