The brainchild of Ted Kennedy, who was a senator from Massachusetts for 47 years, this museum explains the workings of American democracy in an interactive way. Visitors are given a connected tablet to record their opinions on political issues. At the end of the day, a Senate session takes place in a recreation of the Washington Senate Chamber. Visitors are invited to take part in the debates and vote on the issue of the day.
