VIEW BOSTON
Park designed by the architect of Central Park in New York, to be seen from the Prudential Tower with its 52 floors erected in 1965
The 52-storey Prudential Tower was erected in 1965. From the top of the tower, you can see all of Boston and beyond: "The Fens", the park designed by the architect of New York's Central Park, with the Red Sox baseball stadium nearby, Boston Common, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, bridges such as Harvard and Longfellow (where the subway linking Boston and Cambridge runs), as well as the neighborhoods of Back Bay and South End.
