NOBSKA POINT LIGHTHOUSE
Lighthouse located at the southern tip of Cape Cod, to be visited only in summer and as part of the Woods Hole tours
This lighthouse, built in 1829, is located on the southern tip of Cape Cod. It is reached by a beautiful scenic road. From the top of the lighthouse, you can see the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nonamesset facing it. It is possible to visit it only in summer and on guided tours. Next to it is the house where all the keepers lived until 1985, when the lighthouse was equipped with an automated system. It cannot be visited yet, but it is planned to open it to the public one day.
