KENNEDY COMPOUND
Three houses with typical Cape Cod architecture, with white facades and gray roofs, two of which were occupied by Kennedys
Three houses are part of the Kennedy Compound: the first was acquired by Joseph Kennedy in 1928. For years, the Kennedy siblings spent all their summers there. In 1956, JFK bought a house next to his father's, and three years later, Ted Kennedy decided to buy a third house next door. The houses are typical Cape Cod architecture, with white facades and grey roofs. Two of the houses are still occupied by Kennedy members, and the third is owned by the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United State Senate.
