THE ATTLEBORO HOUSE
Hotel a few steps from the ferries to Nantucket, with rooms that have a view of the harbor from the balcony
This hotel, built in 1874, has 11 rooms, some with private bathrooms, balconies and harbor views. The decor is sober, but the essentials are there, especially as the house has a certain old-fashioned charm, with its blue façade and white-painted balconies. The building is one of the island's typical Gingerbread Cottages. It's a little old-fashioned, but the location, along the harbor and a stone's throw from the ferries to Nantucket and Hyannis, is unbeatable.
